Archipelago trail / Terre aux mille visages

🇬🇧 During a warm week-end of June, we packed the tent and took the ferry to Ålö, an island part of the Stockholm’s archipelago. We hiked a total of 13km through a place where the landscape changed every second and unveiled new colours, textures and perfumes. We slept nearby the sea, and fell asleep with the sound of waves. The island had this calmness that brought us into a peaceful state of mind.

Earth of a thousand faces, of a thousand shores,

The spirits fall silent

And I wrap myself in your scents.

🇫🇷 Pendant un week-end de juin, nous avons embarqué la tente et prit le ferry en direction de Ålö (prononcé Ohleu), une île faisant partie de l’archipel de Stockholm. Nous avons marché au total plus de 13 km autour de l’île, où les paysages changeaient à chaque instant pour dévoiler de nouvelles couleurs, textures et de nouveaux parfums. Nous avons dormi près de la mer, et nous sommes endormis au bruit des vagues. L’île avait cette douceur qui calme les esprits.
